September 19th, 2011Drunk Serbian accidentally kills shark while performing cannonball. Becomes local hero
Man called hero after accidentally killing shark in Egypt – NYPOST.com.
A Serbian man reportedly has become a hero in Egypt — by accidentally killing a shark with his butt while drunk
Dragan Stevic was soused to the gills while partying at the Red Sea resort Sharm El Sheikh when he inadvertently felled the beast that had been terrorizing tourists for weeks.
Stevic cannonballed into the water from a high-diving board, according to a Macedonian news agency.
Instead of making a splash, he came down right on the shark’s head, killing the toothed terror instantly.
The fun-loving party boy was immediately touted as a local hero who saved tourist season, which had dried up after the shark had injured three people and killed one vacationer.
Stevic swam to shore and is currently in the hospital recovering from alcohol poisoning.
It’s like a rags to riches story (minus the alcohol poisoning).

Dragons or Dinosaurs?
This last weekend I stumbled upon this documentary on Netflix, and I’ll be honest when I first heard the title I thought it sounded kind of stupid. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was imagining some kind of documentary for kids talking about dinosaur and dragon mythology. That’s not what it is at all.
Turns out, its actually s a documentary that uses science to back up and verify the theory of creationism. It starts off by talking about the mythology of dragons, and how those could have possibly been derived by stories of when man and dinosaurs actually lived together at the same time. Then it gets into the meat of the documentary by explaining how the carbon dating and radioactivity decay rates can’t be trusted and can easily be shown to be inaccurate. It also gives geological examples showing how the Earth isn’t as old as we assume it to be and archeologists and geologists use circular logic to come up with their dating system.
Well I really enjoyed it (except for the awful side story of the girl reading to the children, and the terrible portrayal of atheists) and I recommend you watch it too. Even if you don’t believe in the creation of the Earth as defined by the bible it certainly brings up many valid points which I don’t think can be ignored.
If you don’t have Netflix you can watch the entire documentary through YouTube. I went a head and linked it here below:
And here’s the best political sign I’ve ever seen.

October 28th, 2010Chito and Pocho on the Today Show
So last year I went on a mission trip to Costa Rica, and while traveling to the small city of Siquirres we stayed with this crazy guy named Chito and his 15 foot long crocodile pet Pocho. They are best friends and put on shows for the tourists. And this morning when I logged onto MSN this is what I saw:
So apparently the Today Show did a little Story about him. You Can watch it here:
